Exercise can increase risk of miscarriage

The women who make some type of exercise as to play tennis or simply to walk in the first time or the first weeks of pregnancy they increase the risk of losing to her baby through an miscarriage.

The pregnant women who present more risk are those than exercise many hours to the week or that decide to make abrupt sports, according to diverse investigations since the exercises more soft as swimming does not raise any risk of miscarriage.

It was verified, by several studies, that alone it presented risk of miscarriage in the first stage of pregnancy because in later phases this risk did not exist.

For to affirm the previous thing, Anne-Marie Nybo Andersen and her team, made a study to diverse pregnant women and they asked to them that type of exercise made and the time dedicated to this sport, finding that the risk of miscarriage increased with the amount of exercise nearly four times, also ran this same risk the women who practiced sports of high impact.

Even though of the great vulnerability to present the risk of losing to her baby when exercising during the first period of pregnancy, these increases were low, since alone 3.5% of the pregnancies gave rise to an miscarriage.

The disadvantage of these investigations is that they are going to discourage to women to make exercise during the pregnancy, because if can do it, alone they must worry that it is a light and moderate sport since is very good and serves much for the health.
